Hey guys

I checked the tech doc, but the airbag section wasn't working. I have a airbag code error 52, just wondering if anyone knows how to fix this?

Cheers
Daniel

i think from memory it may be a intermittent low battery voltage code.

code 52 is Intermittant or Repaired Low Battery Voltage
have you replaced air bag fuse recently or had battery disconnected?

to get rid of it Go to the Data Link Connector next to the fuse panel....

find a piece of wire 100mm long (bare ends)

igniton to ACC

Top row ... 4th from left = Air Bag Clear pin

connect to

Bottom row... 3rd from left = Ground pin

having connected these two pins for a few seconds
(must have GOOD CONNECTION... not easy)

you will hear 5 quick BEEPS... then remove wire...
check for any new codes....
(PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE FIXED BEFORE CODE CAN BE CLEARED)
repeat above if necessary

How long before you hear the 5 beeps?

I have code 52 Intermittent or repaired low voltage.

I have tried to clear the code but it just wont clear. Any suggestions? 94 EF Fairmont 5.0 wagon.

Oh ok, I have got firm female spade connectors onto it so I believe that should suffice. Should I allow 1-2 mins?

Yes I cleared 3 individual codes (one after the other). I bought the car with the light on but was told it was tripped when the car had a flat battery for a few weeks.

I don't care anymore as now there cleared :)
