Mate I think you'd be hard pressed to go past a Raptor supercharger kit. Comes in under 5k. They are a sponsor of this site but here is a link to their page.

YEP forced induction takes some beating..
Any first mod should start with exhaust..
Then anything done latter enhances the whole package...

The T5 is a potential problem, depending how you drive it. And the raised compression in a 220kW engine together with hypereutetic pistons makes forced induction more expensive. Might be worth considering starting with a clean slate, spending a bit more up front and selling the current drivetrain after you swap it. Maybe look at a crate stroker, based on either an 8.2" or (preferably if your laws allow it) a 9.5" deck block. Remember a good chip & tune will cost about $1k no matter what you do to the engine

gotta, just gotta do the basics first before S/C - let the engine BREATHE

exhaust - $2000 (get rid of those s**t std headers go Tri-Y)
Hi Flow K&N filter - $100
Intake manifold spacer - $75
Port match/port Intake manifold - $500
Tune - $1000

could then clean up heads - $1000

that should get you about another 50rwkw

Another 50kw is a bit much isn't it?

std AU header aren't as bad as the older models but it all helps i guess.
Depends what your after but a supercharger would be the easiest way to go if you want a decent increase...
