Checked all other things, must be the ecu unit....problem is it is coded:
4DMC 94DA-12A650-MC and I cannot find any mention of this part number/model anywhere.. Anyone know of this part number |

thats the thing...there is no mention of this code anywhere.
for my 4.0l 1994 falcon ef wagon it seems to either have the 4DBC or the 4DBF ecu unit as required, not the unit that it currently has...and has always had since i bought the car 6yrs ago puzzled, but wondering perhaps if i should just put one of these correct units in and see how it goes??/ |

4DMC comes up as a Series 2 EF Fairmont wagon.
Realistically, slap any EF auto ecu in there and it'll work. Optimally, you would find out what diff ratio you have and choose an ECU similar from a sedan.

Someone correct me if i am wrong.
