Hi guys
Don't like creating new posts for little stuff, but couldn't find anything online. My overlow container switch is playing up and I have a spare one now that I want to replace, but my problem is that I'm not exactly sure how to remove it from the bottle. Do I put something in the 4 holes and twist ? Or is there another way to go about it? Thanks Daniel |

Pair of long nose pliers in two adjacent holes and undo it. If its tight a screw driver in between the jaws can be used as a lever to assist.

Does this apply once you have removed the white section, which you just screw out?
Cause I have removed that but now at the stage where the sensor is sitting behind the thread that held the white section with the 4 holes |

once you have undone the white nut the sensor just pulls out...
It will be very very firmly stuck in the rubber seal... don't pull on the wires... pull on the body without breaking the epoxy out of the inside of the body... Spray some WD40 in around it to soak into the rubber and leave it a bit... Quite a painful task... Also there is a 99% chance you will stuff the rubber seal getting it out... You will need to source a new one from Ford... Cheers, Tim
