Hey people, my car has been sitting for a couple of months, it developed a nasty leak from the gearbox, its from bottom sorta sump plate, and yeh is it just a gasket or a seal that needs replacing? and how long can I get away with a rear main seal leak?

Cheers posting.php?mode=post&f=4#

Hello,

There is a rubber gasket that seals the sump to the transmission casing. You should get one with a trans service kit along with the filter.

Thanks,

Evan.
