 Post subject: Removing Power steering switch.

Can anyone who has done this before shed some light on how to do this. Cant for the life of me get the spanner in there. Also is this easier below or above the car?

It's a bit of a pain but easiest from underneath. I done mine not long ago.

i got a 2 dollar spanner and ground it down so it was thin enough to fit

I cut the cheap spanner in half and used a pair of multigrips to lever it down....BTW i went through 2 switches very quickly....Makesure when you install the new switch it has new fluid to the pwr str system.......

Yep. Bought a cheap spanner, cut about 1/3 off, bent it up about 30 degrees. Got the idea from this thread (includes pic): post1226499.html
