Hi all,

I am having some drama with removing and replacing a damaged passenger size centre air vent (above the prem sound screen). Long story short, we were installing a gauge pod and dropped a screw in the vent (damn!) and in an effort to get at the screw we have damaged the vent. So ive lsot the screw in the dash and broken the vent... a very pleasurable evening... sigh

I have already read and began to move the entive cluster/fasia forward (with the help of the tech thread ) and i have the unit forward but not disconnected yet.

However, after speaking to ford, they say that the whole unit needs to come out to get at the screws from the back which hold the vents and the open/close wheel assembly for the aircon? then a new one can be screwed in (costs $80ish for the assembly)

Has anyone done this and /or removed the fascia completely out to get at these screws? And does anyone have any photos?

Lastly... am i mad to even attempt this haha
