G'day Mate and welcome to FordMods.

Short answer yes, there are two ways you can go about it

The first buy a flash tuner about $700 from memory
when you order it tell them what you want and anything
you have done to the car. Not only can they send through
a tune that will electronically (shift kit) firm up the box
but it will also add some power

Pro's:
It's fairly cheap.
adds power as well.
If you are looking to do further mods in the future a flash tuner is a must.

Con's:
Although having quicker shifts does add to the longevity of an auto
due to the clutch packs spending less time slipping, this method does
nothing mechanically to strengthen the box. this results in people feeling
the quicker shifts and the firmness believing the box is indestructible. and
killing it

The second approach is considerably more expensive at between 2.5k - 3k depending
on the shop. It involves the planetary gears being replaced with pre au units,A gmh
solenoid, ea 26ml oil pump ( the one on the auto.). auto trans cooler, stronger bands
and a general service

I had this done in a ute I had with the xr6t conversion, it handled constant abuse
and never skipped a beat and yes 90 percent of the time that was using it as a manual
with the tiptronic
