my car has NEVER stoped. the brakes have always been crappy.

now. down the track im gona be putting a au motor into my car. after i put the supercharger on. also the diff is making some of the worst noises ever heard and will need to be rebult soon. so what im thinking is why dont i get a au diff built and put it into the back of the wagon. get a au kframe into the front. then my options for breaks are there. also with the au kframe it give me the options for airbags down the track.

what issues can you guys see with doing this?

i wont be doing it all myself alot will be with my mechanic.

you can buy brake upgrades for the e series, they are advertised on ebay, i think it f**k with the offset and makes it au anyway so i guess the positives of au k frame outway the possitives of the brake kit(which is still expensive)

well the au wagon diff is an easy swap, the k frame is a huge job, the rails need to be modified with added crush tubes and plating..
have a look at bbqburners build there is a fair amount of pics and info there..

its easyer to put air bags onto a au kframe than the eserise because theres more room in the top wishbone. the au s2 brakes stnd are better than what ive got now also. and if i go a au diff in the back then i have post au offset all round. also i will have more options for wheels...

you could also use ba/bf and probably fg big brakes which would be a huge upgrade

I am also considering this upgrade to my EB Wagon.

However it is more of a longer term goal.

I will acquire the parts as they come up and proceed when ready.

Cheers
