Hi Guys,

I've just bought a bottle of Lucas' Transmission fix fluid and it says on the bottle to add to existing fluid, but I'm a little confused as I've been told not to overfill the transmission under any circumstances.

Can anyone shed a little light on this, or should I just air on the side of caution and take 700ml of ATF out and then add the bottle of Lucas???

Thanks

just change the fluid and add the additive. You cant really drain a certain amount out of the auto as there is no drain plug, you have to drop the pan. If you go that far you may as well change the fluid and put a new service kit in while your at it. The serivce kits are less than $20, fluid isnt cheap..

If your auto is playing up, its a pretty good idea to change the fluid anyway.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I will be doing a service at the same time as I
also have to replace the front servo seals cause the outer one is leaking.

Thanks again
