Got this just before Christmas. Done 90,000km when i got it. Its fairly must got nearly every factory option sunroof, towbar, premium sound etc. Also the first thing i did when i got the car was install the BA GT snorkel and put in a k&n air filter
Recently installed new speakers and a 10" Sub, sounds much better now than the stock system i use to have. Future mods: Extractors 2.5" Exhaust 18" BF XR8 Rims Reversing Sensors Maybe get rid of the black stripe as its starting to peel off on one side of the car You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. |

Pretty clean xr
 +1 for removing the stickers, i think you can find some better rims that BF XR 18s....? what interior trim does it have? and stupid question, have you got a headphone jack/ipod connection for the standard headunit? how are you running the amp (aftermarket headunit?) Cheers Cam

Cheers Cam I only want genuine ford wheels on the car, none of these crap looking 20" chrome wheels. 18" is the max wheel size im willing to go. I've seen way too many 19" wheels buckled and dented because the profile is just too low for our roads, i've even seen 16" wheels buckled! The wheels im after are the XR Ute Magnet wheels (not the 18"chrome one that the xr8 came with) Its got the black interior (ill post some picks up later next week) Havent got the line in jack yet, thats something for me to yet do. And as for the amp its a Westcoast Orion 800w (pumps like anything) connected by a Line to RCA spliter/converter with a Sony Xplode 1200w sub (pentagon shaped one)....Battery and ground connection done by connecting to the factory amp, and the Remote wire is connected to an empty fuse that get power when the ignition is turned on. |

Today i put in phillip +80% h4 and H7s and WOW do they make a difference, but ive still left the foggies with blue visions in them. Anyone else using Phillips +80%s

where abouts is the sub installeda? on the parcel tray or in an external box?

External box on the right hand side. Reason for this is because i had it under the parcel shelf and it was like something was obsorbing the bass. I get a much deeper and stronger sound where i have it now.

Update: Got reversing sensors installed and 18x8 Ba Xr8 rims
Just for those of you's who want to know about the sensors. The bumper bar has a template on the inside that you just drill through and as for the wiring it all just plugs straight together(comes as a kit, very straight forward). Took me about 20-30mins to fit and I have to say parking sensors are fantastic!!!!Now i can get into just about any spot without worrying about reversing into the car behind lol. I had 19" FPV Typhoon MkII rims on mine and I much prefer the look and the feel of the 17" BA XR MkI rims I swapped over to. The rears dont lose traction when I accellerate from the lights or out of a round-a-bout anymore and the overall handling of the car feels much more comfortable and in-control. Great XR6 you have mate and some nice pictures too.
