I'm looking into getting a replacement air intake system for my EF falcon, are the single pipes out of the AU better/more efficient than the twin EF ones?
Thanks, Jack.

This is a debatable point.... I did BBM conversion on my ED and tried both the std EF twin duct type setup and factory single duct EL setup. In both cases I used an opened out adapter at the airbox lid - ie. with the tube removed from the inside of the lid. I also modified the end of the EL plastic duct where it goes into the airbox (that part of the EL duct necks down quite severely).
I felt a definite decrease in performance with the EL duct so went back to the standard EF setup (was quite shocked actually). JMM also make comment in Autospeed articles that they found the EF factory twin pipe setup to work better than a single duct - tho they do say something about a big bore mandrel duct being suitable for hi-po engines.
