Hey guys, need to replace my master cylinder and I've heard they all have different split points (ie. wagons, V8's, sedans, utes etc) but that's all I can find in search, no one clarifies if they're all compatible with one another??? What are the aplit points exactly??

My mate has a spare V8 one I'm wanting to chuck in my EF II ghia as it's stuffed, can I do this or will I need the specific split point for my model???

Cheers.

On EF and EL there are just 2 brake M/Cyls. One is for a Sedan and the other for a Wagon.

I am pretty sure it is breaking ratio. I know the proportioning valve is different.
