Front ancillaries will be different from your NC I think. Possibly the fuel injector plugs will be different as well.

AU 5.0 is EDIS so besides what Vic already said you'll need to swap your dizzy & coil, relocate your IAT sensor, put an E-series water pump on, swap the E-series balancer over, install an ECT sensor for climate and another one for your gauge, fit a bigger COMPATIBLE MAF sensor and housing, put a new plug on the injector loom to suit the AU ISC or swap the E-series ISC over, think about your EGR setup (you can't just leave it disconnected), swap your headers and you'll also need a chip to suit the injectors.
There's probably some more stuff I missed It's all relatively easy, I'm running a similar setup in my Mustang with EB EEC and transmission, and a modified 220kW engine. But if you cut corners will not get 220kW as your ecu will go into limp home mode.

Are you going to use the AU EECV or the NC EECIV?

Ok well.....
The easiest way is to use; NC Balancer NC Pulleys, water pump and accessories and brackets NC T-body NC injectors NC Harness NC Headers NC MAF NC EEC Adapter harness for ACT sensor or plumb your intake for the NC ACT sensor to screw in. Then you can work on building the power up to where it would have been with the AU T-body,inj,maf etc. The easy way to do that would be to use; E-series 24lb injectors,70mm Sprint/GT/Cobra MAF, EB GT/Sprint EEC and 70mm '86-'93 Mustang type T-body. |

To answer the other part of your question that I think you were asking, the engine will fit straight in and you won't need to alter the loom if you do what XR9UTE mentioned.
If you want to do it on your own, I'd recommend finding someone whose been through it all before to help you out. It'll make your life a whole lot easier. If you want to use the bigger injectors/MAF/throttlebody, then you will need to get it tuned after it's all said and done.

Or instead of changing all that stuff, you could just swap the heads, cam & intake over to your current motor and then you won't have to change anything else.

I wouldn't disturb an engine just to do that. My suggestion just uses existing stuff that you would be using even if you swapped heads, cam and intake. |

Swap with using early EEC BUT purchase MAF that can run 24Lb injectors..
Unless you have a way of changing transfer function with Moates Quarter horse etc.. Which IMO is the BEST option as it gives tune options...
