Hi FM crew,

There is not much left but I'm looking to sell whatever is salvageable before I send it to the wreckers. I'm looking for someone who wants all the XR bits to just take it away.

The wheels are probably still ok, some light gutter marks as you expect but and the front drivers Tyre is flat but dose'nt look like the rim is buckled (sh*theads were doing doughnuts at a nearby nature reserve and looks like they have over-steered into a pothole or rut in the car-park and popped the rubber off), the spare is on the back as I had a flat at the time and the 4th rim is still in the boot. Suspension wise it was standard XR as far as I know but the front wheel bearings were replaced last year, there were no squeaks or roughness, nothing wrong with it.

The motor had done 200k kms before this happened, with the ancillaries under the bonnet (the bonnet you can see in the pics had been pried up by the Fire brigade in order to disconnect the battery) nothing had been out of sorts at all apart from a dodgy thermo fan unit which had shorted out and had been replaced with a 2nd hand unit last month. It had been serviced regularly but apart from that nothing was wrong with the motor, but obviously I can't be sure as there is no way to start it up and check.

Have acquired a replacement vehicle now. Make me an offer for the individual parts, or $1.8k to take the whole thing as is. I'll take the tarp off tomorrow if the rain lets up and get some better photos up.
