Hey guys,

My hood has a fair few fine scratches which i want to remove (some of which are deeper and cannot be buffed out) - also have a small dent in hood which will need to be fixed @ the time of respray.

One paint shop in UNLEY quoted me $350 for this... saying that the job is more difficult because i have a metallic paint (FORD Polynesian Green).

IS THIS CHEAP? OR AM I GETTIN STOOGED.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you are north of the city I would recommend Highlander crash at Holden Hill.
I've had some work done by them and could not fault it, also took my Mum's car there after a shunt up the bum and again, faultless work.

Thats a good price mate, the only reason why I can see why it would be more difficult to paint is cause it is a metallic colour and they are a bit harder to colour match.
