Has anyone had problems snapping or stretching accelerator cables?
Early 2010 the first cable stretched right out, replaced it and then the replacement has stretched, so I adjusted it and tonight the C*** snapped off at the pedal....
Eb series 1 manual if it changes anything.
Also the pedal feels...(When the cables not snapped) I guess rough and "hard" or firm to push down on?
Thanks.

Do you have Cruise?

Are you installing them correctly?

Does your throttle body feel like its tighter than it should be with no cable installed?

Are you too Tough Mate?

Haha my size 15 boots are too much, need to make a cable of unbreakable diamond filament.
But no, no cruise an I put it in the way it was installed when I got it wich looks perfectly right.
The throttle body butterfly is easy to open even with the cable on.
Ill have to have a good look at it tomorro after work. Might be fouling on something

The reason I ask if its got cruise is I recall when i i did a conversion, there's a cruise ball joint and a throttle ball joint.

Connecting it to the 'obvious' one will cause the throttle to hang higher revs at idle and feel rough to the foot.

By placing it on the higher ball, (iirc) if it isn't should rectify the problem?
