Lift up the plastic cover piece in the engine bay and theres a screw, then just push the indicator towards the front of the car and it should slide out.

Just be very careful when putting the new indicator back in, use very gentle pressure to get the locating pins into their positions. Mine were out of shape, and lets just say the lens' on those things aren't very strong .

One screw on the top of the indicator, right next to the headlight. Battery will not be an issue.

EF Falcon, same as mine. The screw IS there, I did the same job about a week ago. Not sure what pipes you have there. On the pic I posted it's looking down on the drivers side h/light from the engine bay side. The silver spear like thing coming in from the right is the body of the car above the indicator lens. The screw you have to undo is pretty much at the end of that.
Hope this helps.

yeah mate i replaced all my indicator and headlight covers last week, after you pop ur bonnet make sure you removed the black plastic cover that is on top of the headlight covers and bonnet release its held in by about 8 or so scrivets, after that you will be able to see the tops of the headlight covers and also the screw that holds the indicator in place. Remove this screw as said before by Esteven and then simply slide the indicator out from the front of the car. The electrical connections will stil be connected to the headlight cover so simply detach this by pulling it and then its removed.
