How many rubber exhaust mounts on an Au XR6. Also are they all the same ??

I cannot answer your question as to how many mounts you need but I found one for my AU XR6 ute at Super Cheap manufactured by Mackay Rubber for $4.95 to suit Fords.
Mackay may be an OE supplier, I know they used to be OE.

They are a universal thing, theres just a few different types, take the old one to an exhaust shop or supercheap. As mentioned they are about $5 each.
Cheaper to replace broken ones as they brake rather than the whole lot in one go and possibly throwing out rubbers that are ok. Cannot tell you exactly how many perhaps 4-5.
