ive just done a manual conversion to my El 5l. its got a t5z box from an au xr8. ive wired up the reverse light switch and just connected the neutral switch wiring together cause theres no neutral switch. the car stars and drives good. its got a j3 chip to suit the car. my problem is it keeps on bringin up the code 522 when i do the koeo test and wont goin to base timing. do i need the auto tcm plugged in or is there more wiring mods that need to be done. any help would be good

With the j3 chip setup to make the ecu think its a manual you wont have to connect up the neutral wires. the ecu will not recognise the wires being connected. Thats as far as i understand it anyways.
