Cheers mate.

I think I know why I can't find the plug. Would swapping over to a fairmont ghia dash loom have anything to do with it? As they have 2 airbags .

Anyone ??

Where on the dash loom is that ? I hope I don't have to remove the dash again :?

in all honesty I can't remember if you will need to or not - i have an EF loom sitting here but its series one so i doubt it has the resistor in it...

my loom doesn't - but it is where the airbag would normally be :P so have fun with that!
you might be able to access it from glovebox if you're lucky i guess...
Should've got a EF Series 1 Loom!

wee bit of a thread mine :O but it relates to a similar problem I'm having with my c/c conversion in my GLi I get the E2 error and was hoping somone could tell me which pins are the ones to use to jump start the blend door motor. Otherwise I'll have to pull the dash out (ergghh) and change the blend door motor for another which I'd rather not do if I can get away with it lol

Hi mate
I had the same issue as you . I got the error code. So I ripped out the dash for the 2nd time and Probed a 12v battery into the blend door pins to jump start it. I opened it,closed it. But dash back in and it worked fine, no more error.

Im pretty sure if you take of the C/C module and unplug the wire harness that goes into it you can jump start it by probing at the pins. Not sure which pins . You can find out if you have a wiring diagram of the C/C.it'll be in a workshop manual .
