Hey, I'm going to be replacing my standard "HO" Manifold with an explorer manifold in the near future. I'm just wondering which gaskets I am going to need to order. I am assuming the valley gasket, throttle body gasket and thermostat housing gasket are all going to be the same as the HO manifold, so do I just need to order the gasket that goes between the top and botton half? is that the only difference? What car should I tell em it's for? Series 2 EL XR8? AU XR8? Mustang? GT?

It depends what TB (and EGR spacer) you will be using. If you are re-using your e-series TB & EGR spacer then order for EL2 XR8 / XH2 XR8. If you are upgrading to 65mm TB & EGR spacer then order for AU1-3 V8 (excl AU3 XR8). 70mm TB then order for AU3 XR8 (note that no EGR spacer was fitted so you will need to make your own gasket)

I don't normally find it necessary to replace the upper to lower gasket. They are usually in as-new condition as they don't get hot/oily/wet

Alright, well it seems I'll need an EL2 XR8 set, as I'm going to be using my e series TB and EGR spacer for now. I will need an upper to lower gasket as the manifold I bought didnt come with one.
