Hi,
How can one adopt this to a non Navigation Car? Question is, is it just a module of some sort that is added at factory?

Any help and clarification appreciated.

Regards,
Izzy.

GPS's are dirt cheap these days..... probably just as reliable if not more. Why would you bother with primitive technology costing more to retrofit to a non-late model car.

Nice car, just live with it.

I would agree with low_rida... the portable unit would be a lot cheaper.

That's expensive from ASL, might think about getting the dvd player instead......

Keep in mind that there would not be a lot of companies that would be able to provide such a feature. ASL would be leagues in front of everyone else when it comes to the newer falcons and the Territory's as they are the mob that repair the faulty units for Ford (meaning they would be the only company that would get all the specs directly from Ford and would know what has to be altered to make everything work). Every other provider would need to figure this out for themselves.

The other option would be to look at the Alpine Vehicle Hub setup.

I am not sure if or how much extra the cost would be to add the GPS to the vehicle hub. But at the RRP, you are not too far off the ASL pricing anyway. The ASL setup would look more factory
