They'll fit with hub adaptors man, but you can buy copies to fit pre AU. Personally i think the tickford 16's are nicer though..

Different offsets, the BA rims sit further under the guard & hit your struts, if you go spacers there illegal.

there should be a sticky for this, all wheels before AU (EL-EF-ED-EB etc) will fit your Pre-AU car, any made for AU or after (ba-bf) wont without spacers.
BUT, for most post (after) AU wheels companies have made knock off or copies of them with E-series (EA>EL) offset. common wheels are copied such as; -AU XR -BA/BF XR -BA/BF GT/p |

I have 18" starcorp racing alloys on my ef futura, the rims suit au's so the dude at bob jane put some spacers or hub adapter on first, this all cost big bucks when I got it done probably around 2004 I reckon, the hub adapters alone were 100 each, 7 years later my advice to people thinking about doing this would be stay the hell away from them, last time I removed the adapters to install new brake rotors the original threads on the rotors were corroded like hell, this is why they are illegal imo, water gets in there, also I have been working as a tyre fitter, recently put new tyres on my rims and balanced them up at 0 / 0, yet I get massive vibrations in the steering wheel, guess what the cause most likely is.. and as far as I know there would be no way to balance them, hopes this helps some people when they looking into these sorts of things, and if anybody knows where I can get some cheap rims in Adelaide for my ride that don't need adapters let me know, want to get that s**t off my car asap
