Anyone know whats involved in fitting clevo heads onto a windsor?

drill the coolant passages in the cleveland heads to suit the windsor intake manifold, and find someone with a 351W Boss manifold

I guess I could use either windsor or clevo head gaskets?
Hopefully windsor gaskets work because they don't make cometics for a cleveland. |

use the windsor gaskets...... not too sure that the cleveland ones will have the right coolant passage holes, but they should be the same

Here in the land down under use copper gasgets and O ring heads or block...Especially on forced induction....Pluss Cometic's are bloody expensive here.. Don't have oversize either...
That twin turbo'd Cortina [BWARNED] has dart block and Clevo heads combo..

the person that is building my engine is mates with that guy.
I can get cometics for 118$ each to suit a windsor, but I'm just going to use the SS ringed felpro ones until I get some better heads, and keep the boost below 15psi. Hope they last. I am gonna keep it real sedate until the World heads are released, then go crazy. Going to Cu gaskets adds a fair whack to the price just can't afford that yet. |

You will also need to machine and fit a welsh plug to the square shaped holes front and rear of the head on the head face. I have a set in the shed that have been fitted to a windsor.

Yeah the dude building the short said that too, he's gonna set up the heads, drill the block, and drill and tap for two -12 fittings(water outlets).
So its all good. |
