hi all i just brought a stage 2 cam from cms do i need to runmore shims and cam gear for it to work??

You will require 2 shims per lifter and having a vernier gear will help.

so i can use the standard cog on the cam for the time been how do i dail it in with it

its just my motor blew up today so i need to get the other in asap

i never dialed in a stock cam gear. just line up the notch on the cam sprocket with the cam shaft, put the bolt in with some blue loctite.
