I'm considering buying a 94 XG ute....4.0 column auto with 216,000 K's. Very clean and tidy ute that looks to have been well looked after.
What are the pros and cons?
I know two cons are the crappy door handles along with the sagging door hinges but what else is there?

Have got an xg myself, just keep up the grease on the door lock mechs and don't let people slam the doors as that will kill the doors more than anything and other than that mine has road rally and thrashed and it still runs like a clock.

Rust, rust and more rust.
Just check it thoroughly for no rust. These things are ready to rust at the drop of a hat.
But definately go for it if its got no rust.
Sills, arches, bottom of the doors, roof line, window surround should all be checked for rust.
