yeah it depends on how well the car was kept, i've even seen cars 2-3 years old with rust, but it's just one of those things that cars get when not treated right/getting to old or something, just get it fixed
but it's good to get a RACV check done on a car before buying it, they normally pick up everything

most prob the climate where the car was maybe somewhere near the coast. Ive never had a problem with cars Rusting Up in central QLD, its good to get into the habit of letting your car dry out after its been raining just open it up and leave it out when it becomes sunny again

Yeah my EF has a small rust hole in teh passenger side sill that you can see if you open the door. I might drill it out, mask a small area around it and spray with etch primer and then put a rubber plug in it.

Stripping the inside is so when they do the welding your carpets and seats dont catch fire, thats what the guy told me. How much do you need to strip out? Seats, carpet..... anything else? |

Seats, carpet..... anything else? _________________ Only member of Team Mercury Silver. it all needs to come out the dash can stay but thats bout it , it needs to come out yes cause of fire ect, but also because the sill is joined to the floor and u need it out to cut the sill off the floor pan then rejoin paint ect |
