I am pretty confident that all springs interchange between models.
Hoping someone can confirm if the shocks also interchange? I want to change my old EB back to standard height and want to know if I can search for EF-L parts too?

ALL E series sedan suspension including Fairlanes is interchangable, even XE and XF sedan rear stuff is the same. Not sure about AU but I think it's the same if it's got a live axle rear too.

Aparently the au ba front struts also fit, but if you swap the standard e series with au ba or bf front gear from a standard model the e series will sit higher, this information came from another post on this website

All the struts fit from EA-BA, just AU-BA struts require AU-BA springs.
The height is the same, I had AU shocks and springs in the front of my car and they were fine. I think you can even use FG springs/shocks, but they use a different spring again. |

Stock AU Struts & Springs will sit higher in an E series. Have seen this for myself.

That's weird, I had Eibach springs on AU shocks and the hub to guard measurement was exactly as they should have been.
Maybe the std ride height of an AU was higher than an EA-L. |

I have seen the same car SWC is talking about and the front raised quite considerably.

I borrowed a set from a friend while I had extra circlip grooves machined in my E-series Koni shocks so I could use the AU spring seat in order to use AU springs. I measured his to find out where I needed to machine the new criclip grooves on the shock body and they were about an inch lower.

i have a series II nc with koni adjustables and ssl kings front rear from series I au sr all fit perfect except clips for front abs sensor were different and in wrong place zip ties rectified the problem

Gab I've read somewhere that XE/F rear springs ride slightly higher than the E-Series ones and end up between the E-series height options - ie. XE/F "Low" rides between E-Series "Low" and E-Series "Std"? If that's true it could be very handy for tweaking front/rear levels.

XE and XF springs end up one size higher. low = std, superlow = low
Just check out the King Springs catalogue and you can see which part numbers are shared. |
