so i've been fiddling with a 5 litre EB wagon. i would like to get rid of the maf for some more powahs. i was reading something the other day about using a speedo corrector to fix up a tacho signal. could the same be done with the pip signal to alter the percieved engine speed ? i figure it's a hall effect signal so why not ? change the few things i need to and use an el computer with a j3 chip to run it all. hook up the fans while i'm at it. i'm working under the assumption that the el setup is batch fire anyway.

would this work ? or do i need to leave the crack pipe alone ?

All the V8 falcon's were sequential. A proper MAF won't hold the engine back anywhere near as much as going back to speed density. Just get a chip for the V8 ecu you already have

ok. my computer is a 1djc. i haven't seen any reference to it on anyones site. might have to email them and see what happens.
