HI, COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. I have an EA MPI 5 SPEED. it is idling very rough and when i drive it it is chugging. I have had two mechanics look at it and the following has been changed; plugs, leads, injectors cleaned, dizzy cap and rotor button, map sensor, coil, o2 sensor, all vacum hoses, fuel filter and im sure more. I need it fixed. Does anyone know what it could be or somewhere to take it that actually know what they are doing. Preferably in the northern suburbs of melbourne. THanks.

this is just a wild guess, but it could be engine mounts? my fairlanes engine mounts are getting old and she idles a little rough, i kind of like it though. it rocks the car in a pleasant way :)
good luck finding out the problem anyway!

Thanks for all the suggestions, but the "third time lucky" mechanic has fixed the issue. All it was was the throttle positioning sensor. So many head aches for such as small part.
