The inlaws BF will not start, in the past I have found if I tap the shift handle while in park the car will start or in neutral, today I get a phone call saying it wont start at all so this makes me think its the selector switch as I had one replaced on my EB because the bastard kept going into limp mode, NRMA have being to the house & they couldn't work it out either.

Anyone experience this issue?

Well they found out what it was, the cable that goes from the shifter had snapped & the rubber grommets had perished, cannot replace cable or grommets as they are sold as the 1 part.
