Hey all, I have an XH 1 tonner and it keeps loosing coolant. I cannot find any leaks and nothing drips onto the ground. It is parked on a slab and there is no staining.
Any ideas?
Cheers

could also be a failed head gasket and it is leaking into the cylinder but not the oil. get your mechanic to test the water for exhaust gasses. Go from there.

I had two slow leaks in my EL. The first one was a couple of welsh plugs weeping. A couple of years later the head gasket was leaking externally but slowly. It was weeping down the block under the exhaust manifold, and not making it to the floor. I only found it when I took the manifold off.

I had a very slow leak in my AU2 XR6 cooling system that was pin pointed at a seam in the alloy radiator. I am assuming that because the rad gets hot it evaporated the leaking coolant as there was just a large crusty green build up there. I also found a weeping water pump when the rad was removed. The smell of coolant was what alerted me to the leak as the plastic reservoir coolant level was not a great indicator of coolant loss over the long term.
I hope your problem is an easy fix.
cheers
Bill.
