 Post subject: push in rivet screws

does anybody have good way off removing and replacing plastic rivet screws you on ford i broke mine on back bumper of ba getting them off bought new ones but cant srew in proper

unscrew as far as possible. then wiggle them out. or use a clip removal tool and replace with new ones.

if you get a clip removal tool it makes life with them so much simpler...
since i bought one ive saved so much time and energy removing them

ozbmx i got mine from auto one or supercrap or some such. basically its a flat bar with a v in the end. you slide it under the edge of the clip/scrivet, and use it like a crowbar to lever the bastard out. you can make one from an old screwdriver if you have a grinder handy

I have two tools from Wurth for these things. I undo them all day long at work and the right tool makes life soo much easier.
Not cheap but Wurth every sent....sorry. :roll:
