Doing a big service on the falcon next week, at the moment I am running a 3 core radiator and towing a camping trailer. No problems at all with car at running temp, sits between A/L on the gauge all the time:)

BTW I have replaced every coolant hose in the car except for the Heater tap (that will need replacing soon because it's 14yrs old but still works OK...)

Did a quick search on the net and from what I have read, I am a LUCKY prick to have a pump go this long without a leak or a fail....

if your doing any other work to the car you mite aswell replace it while your at it, just dont buy a cheapo from ebay or it probably wont last long

300k and mine is still the factory pump
