hey guys, just curious as to what type of bulb the interior light globe is, not the dome festoon, and not the t10 wedge, but the ones on the dome that point forward in the el.
and they are above the rear doors, you know, the courtesy/back light with the little switch?
looking for a replacement in the l.e.d variety but can't find them on ebay, i'm guessing knowing what the name of them are would help.
thanks in advance! :)

Hey bud,

They're a BA9 or BA9s bayonet fitting bulb. Plenty available in all sorts of colours and configurations on ebay, take a peek.

These are the exact ones I have, pretty good, though the first ones I got were wired up backwards... They replaced them for free though and with a bit of fiddling round and all good now though and have some spares :D

any trick to fitting? so far i've purchased 6 of them and none will work in dome or rear courtesy lights, the leds work as i pulled apart and tested, although when hooked up, just won't light up.

They need to be Reverse polarity LEDs to work in the reading lights.

If you find some,
let me know...
because I made the same mistake, which seems to be common, in getting the ones that are not reversed...

Cheers,
Russ.
