I tried to change my clutch cable the other day but the fitting that goes through the fork was too small so it pulls through!? According to the parts book at the parts shop I bought the new cable from, one fits all EA-ED.
All the guys at shop could say was get the fitting changed on the cable they gave me ......So I just got my money back. Do I have a different fork or is there another cable for V8s?

V8 cables are different to I6. Since your cable fitted EA it was most likely for an I6 since the V8 only arrived in time for EB (1991) model.

From what I've read I think I need to order a EF-EL cable as they're the same as EB V8s, not sure though.
