hi all im kinda new hear so bear with me

i just brought a 1995 ef futura, and was wondering what commen problems i should watch out for if any? also i dont know much about what i can do to gain a little more hp besides putting in cam an exust. i have never really worked on computerised, fule injected motors befor. iv got my mates saying put in an a new chip an cold air intake an stuff i got no idea about. i have mostly worked on bike moters and older cars so yeah.

the only problem i have found with the car is a bad oil leak on the right hand side of the motor under the injecters, witch im guessing is the oil sender or maybe between the head and block

anyway for $800 i cant really complaine lol

any help would be gratly appreciated

how many K's on the car mate, might not be much point in doing anything to it..
Only my opinion, ive found starting with something thats in "been looked after' condition is cheaper in the long run.
Big K cars are endless hassles.

there is 302000 on the clock, other than high milage its been looked after Im the 3rd owner. my mate owned it before me he was goung to stick an xr6 motor and front end in it but never got around to it and sat in his shed for about two years (probaly the main cause of the oil leak, befor he owned it the origanal owner was an middle aged lady who had it serviced regualy and apparently only drove around town (i got all the paper work).

my mate had to move and was going to sell it for 1200 unregoed (its a great car straght as not even a scratch, no rust, new mags, not even a stain on the seats. looks near brand new) but couldnt get rid of it before he had to go. i offered him 800 an he took it.

my plan is to drive it till the motor s**t it self an maybe do the same as my was going to do.

i dont really want to mess arond with nothing overly mecanical like cams an stuff just a few small mods
