I've just stumbled across this pictures of "Fordsrule174's" Fairlane and noticed the chrome trimming around the windows.

Has anyone seen or heard of the same thing being applied to the shorter wheel base of the EF/EL Falcon/Fairmont's?

Id be pretty intent on buying some for my EL Ghia if they are around.

Cheers,
Russ.

You can fit the door ones off the Fairlane I'd say. You would have to get the bit that goes behind the mirrors and use the Fairlane mirrors too. Just find a wreck and grab the lot.

sussed out the bottom window chrome last week while i was at the wreckers, front windows fit fine, the back ones, the chrome is too long, suppose if you were handy with the tools you could make it fit.
i didn't wanna spend the $30 just to wreck one trying to make it fit, i think i might though.
i heart chrome trimmings.

How did you go about fitting it all?

back bottom windows took abit of playing with, the upper half just needed to be trimmed the rear quarter you need to make something up yourself..

A bit of playing around but looks top's when all on

Yeah, it'd be awesome once done properly.
I'm also thinking of getting some chrome vinyl and layering the door handles with it.

Have you got pictures of your chrome trim?
