Have the vehicle raised and level. Have the transmission cold to cool. Start engine, run through the gears, switch off, top up till fluid comes out the hole, put the bung in, its full. It is as simple as that. DO NOT do it when it's hot, the level will be too low when cold.

I didnt want to start a new thread over this, so i hope this gets noticed.
Just bought an EF recently(without dipstick), once iit warms up, the revs increase before it engages, as if im riding the clutch in a manual. but only whaen its warm. Anyway, I know where the plug is, ive read to use a 5/8 or a 16mm, cant recall the precise sizes now, will double check that, but, how the hell do i pour fluid in there. Make up a bottle with a hose so i can squeze it in perhaps? Or is there something available to make it easier for me. I know SOMEone has had to do it before, what did you use?? Many thanx Matt |
