Been a while, I've been busy on restoring my fairmont ghia 5l. She's going in for a full respray in December.

One of the challenges I've had is finding things such as new door seals, moulds and rubbers that go around the windows (as they have faded/or perished).. eg.. the rear quarter window moulds are cracked.

Does anyone know of any vendors who keep stock? Ford say they are discontinued. Spoke to rare spares and they couldn't help either.

Some of the black metal bits around the window can probably be resprayed. But for the plastic bit, I'd really like to do it properly. EG.. the seal around the rear windscreen is totally perished.

Any information would be really appreciated!

the rubber thing around the rear quarter windows come up good with a sand back and respray with black paint, theres a technical doco on the forum in resources at the top of the home page
