As I am sure that others will disagree, the genuine ones in my opinion are good enough to do the job. The Ford plugs, part number AGSF 32 PM are $17.60 retail each. John McGrath @ Mitchell are showing stock. |

Sweet, how much did that set you back? Much difference in performance without a tune?

there are still some gaps i need to fix up because i did bit of a rush job fitting it so i'll fix those on my next day off. Cost $650 i think it was, can notice the performance gain and the noise it makes is awesome.

Few more bits n' pieces to come over the next week or 2
Anyone know of a good dvd unit? To play through the stock screen and use steering wheel controls. Only one i can find is a pioneer unit. i need one that has ipod connectivity but it MUST plug into the back of the unit (i hate having cables in my car where i can see them, looks messy) which the pioneer unit doesn't have, its only got the usb port on the front :/

so its about time for the next update Driving down to victoria in about 7 hours then drive back on Tuesday... then the fun begins.. Wednesday morning i drop it into BDL car stereo for the completion of my system, then sadly i am without a car until satuday afternoon
The list: Head Unit: Pioneer DVH-P435UB connected to the stock premium screen to play dvd (already fitted) Front Speakers: Focal 165KRX2's Rear Speakers: Focal 165VR's Subs: 2X Eclipse SW8210's in custom fiberglass boxes Amps: Focal Solid 4 (speakers) Alpine MRP-2000 (subs) Sound deadener: Focal B.A.M in the front doors and Dynamat in the boot and parcel shelf Amps will bee hidden under a false floor to try and keep the semi factory look.... just gotta ignore the 2 giant sub boxes
