Its a big, big job.....and if you lack the know-how, and tooling, you be in more trouble than Ned Kelly.

XC is the same as XD -> XF .
Ive got an EFI 4.0 in my Late 87 XF - some mods required for transmission mounts. The XC should be easier as the firewall was designed for a clevo. Use clevo engine mounts and it should bolt in. There may be a little clearance tightness around the trans tunnel (I moved my engine forward 20mm) Make sure you get fuel rails to suit EFI - the E Series Sedan ones should work a treat. The LWB ones (Fairlane etc) arent a bolt-in proposition Have a look on xfalcon.com for some ideas. http://www.xfalcon.com/forum/showthread ... TED-302-ZK and mine... http://www.xfalcon.com/forum/showthread ... y-87-XF.... There are a few others there as well. For Radiator hoses - The lower hose is a standard windsor hose from XA I think. The Upper hose on mine is the XA Falcon Windsor hose. Ive used an X Series Radiator. Works a charm. |

Wow - totally usefull information!
Your right - its not a windsor hose (it was 6 months ago I did mine), but it is an XA V8 specific hose that fits exactly. I cant remember which of the two. |
