Got a new stereo but the factory bracket won't fit it :/
Any way to avoid spending money or drilling holes to risk damage? These f**k efs are such a pain in the a** with speakers and stereos |

Hate to see you with another model car, EF's would have to be the easiest cars in the world to install speakers and head units.

just modify the bracket to suit or make one from scratch, not to hard. i wouldn't say ef was the easiest, my old eb was easier.

H/Us all have similar dimensions...pretty sure there is a standard with multiple mounting holes on the units...if you have a cry fitting that, I think you're being spoon fed too much.
If it's any of the popular brands (Pioneer/Kenwood/JVC/etc) you should be able to drill 2 maybe 4 holes into the brackets in total to fit the unit into place. Just a side note...measure TWICE drill/cut once. Make sure when you align it properly and far out enough so that you can fit the H/U surround in.
