hey guys im thinking about getting some personalised plates for my ef xr6 and i was wondering if anyone has slimline plates on the front on their ef/el's?? I wanna know if they look any good or if they look out of place as there is options to get standard size for rear and slimline for front. Or should i just get standard size for front and rear.
Keen to see pics of ppls personalised plates fitted to their ef/el's to get an idea of what they look like. Cheers, Corbin

The front is slimline and the back is standard size. I can't see them being out of place on the front of any car really. Chuck a nice plate protector on it, and it should be okay. Cheers, REW93N (What my plates will say, soon enough.)

Yeah i thought the slimline on front would look good only thing im worried about is the bumper is shaped to take the standard sized one, so may look a bit funny? i dont know... you will have to post pics of yours once you have them on your car. Id be interested to see how they look!
Maybe i should cut out my number plate section and a bit of the bar (about as wide as the mouth) for more airflow for the intercooler and mount the top of the slimline at the top of where its cut so it overhangs slightly in front of the cooler. That would look tough haha, and being slimline it wont affect the airflow as much as a standard size would Just pondering the idea though i probably wont do it cause that would mean the reo bar would have to be cut/weakened and it could end up being a problem for roadworthiness. hmmmmmm

This the sort you on about? Rear plate is normal size Yeah it was a little hard to see on those pics but they do look good! The holes shouldn't really matter for me as I'm getting a bit of body work done maybe even a respray so I'll shave the holes and leave the top 2. Thanks mate.

If your getting body work done build it up and recces it clean, personally slimline on the back of the xc because full size doesn't fit it properly, bit confused bout that, assume something wrong. Really needs slim front though, as I've bent the f**k out it, and slim would be just right size on it.
Biggest problem when people have slim plates, and the car have massive factory allowance, and the plate just looks lost, that and when there obvious marking, screw holes from otherwise.

Woulda been second hand? Wonder why they were so cheap. That combination is usually worth 2250 from ppq. Only cheap combinations are like 2 numbers 3 letters or 3 letters 3 numbers but even they are worth like 430
