Hello.
New here, and it looks like a great site. Bought myself a lovely EF Gli wagon - one owner, 125,000km, regular service every 10,000km, transmisison cooler, anti-rust, etc. The owner was retired, and really looked after it. I intend to do the same - my last car was a great little Pulsar (1983) that had been in the family since new. I was slowly restoring it - had just put in new rings, etc., and it was running like a dream when a turd decided to slam into the side of me. Thanks, mate... Anyway, other than doing the basics, such as a regular oil change, from what I can gather with the EF, these are the regular must-do things (every 10,000km): Flush radiator/new coolant. auto tranny service (check level/new fluid). The radiator and coolant hoses and belt are also working hard, so replaceme the things with better ones? It's going to be used for interstate trips (I like fly fishing in the Snowy Mtns) as I can sleep in the back - already have the bed set up, very comfy. Not engine related, but I'm also thinking of replacing the shocks, as I read that the things crap out at about 50,000km. Also, want to add a rear sway bar to improve ride/handling. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and how hard is it to fit a cruise control?
I saw one on ebay for $20.
