XT 4 spd auto - the limiter is 200km, you can get it removed by using the sct xcal 3 flash tune but you shouldnt. the driveshaft will spin itself apart and f**k you up!

that was the one-piece tail shafts from the E series era.
these two piece ones should be fine for good speeds.

Anyone know anyone selling a bf with a 6speed for $14,000? Or know a place in Perth to get an aftermarket trans cooler installed?

Your driveway.
Really easy job. I just got one off ebay and just have to find the time....

I did one on my previous car - EF - and it was easy.

Man you would REALLY want a Good piece of road to try this on  ( if that were even possible given the condition of our roads.) beacause at speeds appraoching 180kph and over the car can begin to feel like it is FLOATING on the suspension and your steering corrections need to be VERY minute and precise as at these speeds even slight movent at wheel could put you off the road INCREDIBLY QUICK and in a whole heap of s**t  . You would need to be SUPER confident that the car and suspension are in TOP condition or you are asking for trouble. Other things to concider are other people on the road, at 200kph you wont have much time time to react to what ever car you are appraoching or coming at you the other way. The only SAFE ption i can see is to run it up on a dyno till she tops out or book in for a track day at race course.

Any way thats my 2 cents worth, what ever you decide to do be carefull, and DON'T become another road toll STATISTIC :(
