Hi all, just wondering if the LPG rebate is still running for NSW?

I want to go dual fuel conversion for my 2001 au2 forte, its completely stock.

How much would i be looking at? And could anyone around Coffs Harbor do it? Thanks.

1 July 2012 wil drop to $1000, and will stay at that unlti 30 june 2014.

From 1 july 2011 that numbers claims will be capped at 25 000.
You have 12 months to make the claim, so if you mis out on being one of the 25000 you may be able to apply the following year.

At this stage we haven't been told what will happen after 30 june 2014.

I didnt know about the claim cap, thanks.

Looks like it will be cheaper in the long run ( i am thinking maintenance wise too) to keep the car on petrol only.

Until petrol hits $2/L and every one wants LPG and conversion prices go up.

Have you actually done the maths?

Unless you drive less than 15,000km per annum, you will be saving at least $1000 per year by converting to LPG, and that's including additional servicing requirements and petrol use after the conversion!!
