Anyone had any problems with C4 gearboxes not staying in gear at very low revs . the car has not been driven for about 6 months ( apart from a coupleof trips around the block too keep everthing moving) the gearbox was fine before the car was aken off the road. Any Ideas???

Is the box jumpimg out of gear or just slipping?

Is it leaking? I didn't drive my BW40 equiped XF for about 3 months and the next time I took it oput for a drive it developed an oil leak. Now every time I want to drive it I have to fill it up with tranny fluid otherwise it finds neutral everytime I turn left and bangs into gear when I the car sraightens up coming out of a corner.

its jumping out of gear, i have only moved it in and out of the shed a few times recently and when driving it back into the shed just idling along it drops out of gear until u give tha accelerator a tap and then it clunks back into gear... its got me buggered as i said the box was fine 6 months ago when the car was driven all the time and it was supposedly rebuit about 3 years ago too.
