I have a standard XR50 front end on my AUII XR6 ute and I want to shuffle some parts and money around to get a TS50 front end.

I was just wondering if all the mounts are the same? If I buy the TS50 front end can i just take the old one off and put the new one on?

thanks

just read this post again, hmmm i feel a little silly now that i know a little bit more about the T series body kits...

i currently have a standard XR AUII front bar and want to get an XR50 front bar, with the matching side skirts and single tip rear bar. so yeah... just need the $$$... which is always the slow crap part.

this is the only place i have found that does the XR50 front bars...
http://www.awcinfo.com//secureshop/cate ... cat_id=296
does anyone else know a place that i can get it cheaper??

I bought an XR50 kit for my ute not long ago (yet to put it on)
I got the whole kit off an "ebay store" for something like $700, though I'm not sure what just the front bar is worth I'll see if I can find the link again and check if it's cheaper or not.

That was unpainted, though.

Fibre sports are good for bars etc,
so are SSV.
But that's mostly for the Sydney area, unless you want to pay for postage...

Zellus when are you going to put it all on? i have been watching your build, nice looking ute... :)

REW93N, thanks for the tip on SSV... i have family down south, so wouldnt be too much of a problem. he can stockpile some things for me, till i can get a full load for my ute :)

DC_TODD, thats the front bar i want except i want the XR light assembly... hence XR50. but thanks anyways...

Haha, thanks buddy. I'll be putting it on once I paint it, which I'm going to start in the next couple of weeks, hopefully :D

It looks like the guy I got my kit off doesn't sell them anymore, though he does have a ts-50 bar.
His prices have gone up, too, so it won't really work out cheaper. -shrug-

I do know of an XR50 bar second hand that may be available, need small repair that would be done before selling. It is in Black and is in Sydney. Let me know if you are interested.
